One of the main differences between box dye and salon dye is that box dye is much more limited in terms of the colors it can create. Box dye is also more likely to cause damage to your hair since it doesn't contain the same level of quality ingredients as salon dye does.

The main purpose of the Colour Box is to develop a child's visual sense of colour. Primary colours (Red, Yellow and Blue) are introduced in Colour Box 1, which is first presented to a child at 2.5 to 3 years of age.
